This is a picture that Liz Jones created for me. It represents the worlds in my mind, and many of the books I've written are portrayed here: books about a dancing girl in a fantastical world, about a city of technology whose people don't understand the life of nature, about a common girl who dreams of helping others, about a princess who wishes only to find her own way...and about a group of British teens, and one German Jew, who decide to use their unusual talents to fight Hitler.

But when a bomb destroys the facility and kills everyone except for some of the kids, Ginny and the others are left fending for their lives. They are arrested on suspicion of sabotage and murder -- but Ginny knows they were framed. Worse yet, she knows the real killers are still out there, getting closer by the second.
